Thames Valley Lottery Winners Announced

When the results for the last week in June Thames Valley & Chiltern Air Ambulance Lottery was announced, no doubt a number of local residents were extremely excited with their winnings. The person who drew the winning ticket bagged no less than £1,000. Second prize was not to be sniffed at either: the owner of that ticket won a tidy sum of £250.00. Finally, ten runners-up each went away from the lottery with a prize sum of £25 each.

The lottery, which is held every Friday, exists to help raise funds for the Thames Valley & Chiltern Air Ambulance. The minimum payment for a ticket is £1 a week, although it is also possible for hopeful contestants to multiply their chances in the lottery by paying lots more tickets instead. The more the merrier!

The lottery is not the only charity endeavour in which the Thames Valley & Chiltern Air Ambulance is involved. On 22 May the organisation is planning to hold a Charity Race Night at Windsor Race Course, which is expected to draw upwards of 6,000 spectators. The Air Ambulance provides an essential service to the region's community, and any method of raising funds and attracting attention to its good work should most definitely be welcomed by everyone in Thames Valley, Chiltern and the surrounding area.
